Naturalis is an independent non-profit foundation. In principle, Naturalis only processes personal data in order for you to utilise our services and/or because you have provided the data to us yourself. In some cases, we may work together with other service providers and/or suppliers.

We utilise analytical cookies by Google Analytics to anonymously analyse the use of our website.

Security and storage

Naturalis takes the protection of your data seriously and has implemented suitable measures to prevent the unauthorised use, access or changes, loss, or undesirable publication of the data. Despite the earnest efforts of Naturalis, we cannot guarantee the protection of the data against all threats. If you have the impression that your data are not properly secured or that there is evidence of misuse, please contact us using the contact form.

We will not store your data for longer than necessary to provide the service requested. The exception to this rule is data we are legally obliged to store for a longer period.

This statement does not apply to third-party websites connected to our website via links.


Our website and/or service is not intended to collect data on website visitors under the age of 16 without the permission of their parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over the age of 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved with their children’s online activity, in order to prevent the collection of children’s data without parental permission. We would be happy to help you if you have any complaints regarding the processing of your personal data by Naturalis. If we cannot come to an agreement regarding your complaint, then you have the right to submit a complaint to the privacy supervisory body, the Data Protection Authority, on grounds of privacy legislation.
